4 Online Tools That Make Work Easier

Google Docs
One online tool that seems like it could be very useful is Google Docs. Google Docs contains a lot of tools that are similar to what Microsoft offers. You can use a word document program, spreadsheet program, or a presentation program that is similar to Microsoft office, but all the work you do on Google Docs is stored online. This makes it nice because you can open your documents anywhere on any device that can support google docs. This eliminates much of the need of removable storage devices, and can save you a lot of time. To try out this cool online tool yourself, or just want to find out more about it, click here: Google Docs

ebay
ebay is a great online tool to make work easier. You can use ebay to buy almost anything you need very simply. You can also use it for your own business to offer and sell products to a huge range of people. I use ebay myself often for buying car parts, gifts, and many other random things. I also use ebay to sell random items I don't need anymore to get a few extra bucks. You can download ebay's mobile app for any smartphone or tablet ass well. If you don't have an account I would suggest making one, as ebay is an awesome tool. Go to ebay!

Duolingo
Another great tool that can be useful for work, school, and even just for entertainment is Duolingo. Duolingo is a fun tool that can help you learn another language. You can use this program on your computer/laptop, and on your OS or Android smart phones. You can download the app, and one of the best things about it is that Duolingo is free! Whether you are using it for work, school, or fun, Duolingo is a tool everyone should think about using. To get it yourself, download the app, or go to Duolingo.

NOAA
Lastly, Noaa or National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, is a good online tool that I use everyday. I mostly use this website/app to check the current weather and the weekly forecast. It is useful because it lets you know how you are going to need to dress for the day, if you are going to be able to work outside, and what you should expect for your driving situation, all by showing you an accurate forecast. I check either the site, or their app that I downloaded to my smart phone before taking trips, and just to be updated. The app is free to download and works smoothly. Click here to try NOAA out for yourself.

Our new clear guide
This article explains how the nuclear power plants across the globe are split in half from the west to east in means of numbers of plants, or expected plants, and how much uranium it takes to run them. It tells how some places around the globe are quickly shutting down reactors, while in other places, like China, are expected to continue expanding their plants. It shows that right now, out of the 30 countries with reactors, the U.S. is bar far the leader in #s and usage, but that the lowering price of natural gas is making the reactors not as probable. The site uses a chart to show the countries and their usage of uranium. To find out more go to The Economist and click on their interactive map.

The real impact of a decade of low interest rates
This article uses a few charts and graphs, some of which could probably be done using Microsoft Excel to explain how low interest is really affecting us. In the end the article is about how we have created a real mess for ourselves by lowering interest rates by trying to get us out of debt, and have just increased our debt. For more info and to see the charts go to Market Watch.

3 Software Programs I Rely on the Most

Internet Explorer
The application software that I rely on the most has to be Internet Explorer. It is the only web browsing application that I currently use. I use it at home for getting on line and shopping, watching movies, listening to music, and doing my online classwork. I also use it constantly at school for class work.

Microsoft Office
The application software I rely on second most is Microsoft Office 2013. I specifically use the Microsoft Office Word 2013 the most out of the office programs. I use it at home and at school for a variety of different tasks. At home I use it to write essays, create resumes, and save random information that I might forget or loose if it isn't saved on my computer.

Skype
Lastly, I am beginning to rely on the application software called Skype. Skype is very new to me, and I am just begging to learn how to use it. I have known about it's existence for a long time, but just recently obtained a reason to use the software. I am not using all that often yet, but that could change with time as I figure it out. I am using Skype to keep in touch with my girlfriend who is not in the state right now. So far I have only used the text and the face to face video chat parts of the software.

3 Types of Computers I use Most Often

Handheld
The type of computer I use most often I would have to say is my mobile phone. I don't have a smart phone, it's just an old pay as you go flip phone with service provided through Verizon. I use it throughout the day from when I wake up until I go to sleep. I use as my alarm that gets me out of bed. I then use it to check the time and make sure I am running on schedule. I use it throughout the day to text my girlfriend and to keep in contact with other people on rare occasion. I keep the flip phone over getting a smart phone because the monthly plan is cheaper
, the battery life can lasts weeks without needing a charge, I don't play video games or app games almost ever, and I don't want to become addicted to a smart phone like everyone else these days.

Laptop Computer
The type of computer I use 2nd most often would be my laptop computer. My laptop is made by Asus and uses Windows 8. I use my laptop for many activities including shopping, checking craigslist, checking the weather, online banking, and to do my school work. It is capable enough for me and it accomplishes the needs I require it to do.

Truck Stereo
Out of the three types of computers I use most often, I would say my trucks stereo is what comes in third. I use it everyday, and every time I hop in my vehicle to go anywhere. It is made by Alpine, and has many features. It can play CDs, FM and AM radio, and has a USB and AUX port.
